Maggie’s 30 years in the media include seven years at the Daily Record and 18 years freelance for the national and Scottish press. She has undertaken copywriting projects for the re/insurance industry, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glasgow Caledonian University and NHS Health Scotland. PR clients include Scottish Refugee Council, Glasgow Caledonian University and Netball Scotland. Her novels, Paris Kiss (awarded the Curtis Brown prize) and Looking for Evelyn, were published in 2015 and 2017. She has an MA English Literature from Edinburgh University, an MLitt in Creative Writing (Distinction) from Glasgow University and NCTJ qualifications from the Thomson Regional Newspapers Training Centre.
